We’ve been busy lately! We’ve been partnering with Interactive Web Works to provide landing pages for a host of different offers to companies like Realty Trac and Position Marketing Group. This is a totally different type of work from our web design workflow. I’m a minimalist and a layout freak so I’m used having a lot of freedom in my designs, but with landing pages, ad banners, and email creative pieces you have to crank them out quickly because there’s always some new offer to design for.
Lead generation from my perspective is all about what formula will get people to sign on the dotted line. What stock photos do people connect with? Artistic freedom takes back seat to sales on these types of jobs. I’m not complaining because it’s work and I find it intriguing. The process just takes some getting used to…and I can’t be a perfectionist.
